Get the Author's Autograph--FREE!

        A word from James Solheim:

        I love to get writer's cramp!  It keeps my mind off the stomach cramps I get after a eating a plateful of slightly decayed squid!  So I'm offering to autograph labels for the next few months -- labels you can stick on your book's title page just under the author's and illustrator's names.
        Send these four things in a small envelope addressed to me:

        1.  a blank label for me to autograph, preferably 2x4 inches, but other sizes will do
        2.  an envelope, addressed to you, with enough postage already glued on to get the autograph to you
        3.  a note about yourself stating your name and your most fun things to do
        4.  a receipt or other proof that you have bought the book

        REQUESTS MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE MAY 31, 2000!  NOTE:  ONLY ONE AUTOGRAPH PER BOOK BOUGHT!

        If I still have a hand left after signing so many autographs, the offer might be extended -- but don't count on it!
